We started baking part time nearly 20 years ago, set up on a shoestring, and soon ended up supplying over 40 local tea rooms with home made cakes and tray bakes. Recently we wanted to get back into a shop, and that’s when we found this place on Cherry Tree Square. It used to be an Estate Agents, and before that a “Gentleman’s Club” – for playing Dominoes!

The Taste Tideswell project won us over to Tideswell. It’s been a great support to us, and It’s been lovely to get back behind the counter.

David and I set up the shop as if it were a home kitchen. Everything’s made right in front of you and we only sell what we’d happily eat ourselves. We don’t economise on ingredients, we roast our own ham, beef and spicy chicken breast and use only quality produce. We are proud to use local free range eggs and only the freshest seasonal produce sourced locally whenever possible. All our beef, lamb and pork is supplied by Phil Gibbs.

Our constantly changing menu offers scrumptious sandwiches and salad boxes to suit everyone, home made pasties hot out of the oven, or just a “naughty nibble”. The Cherry Tree can cater for all your culinary cravings.
